Berkshire Artistree Awards 2023
We are delighted to announce that Di Whitaker and David Gray have been nominated to receive the award for Outstanding Contribution to Live Music and the Arts on behalf of the Berkshire Artistree community!
We are told, “Somebody somewhere got in touch and made their case for your amazing personal improvement, charitable contributions or advocacy of the artistic community in Berkshire!”
The award will be presented to the lucky winner on Friday 24 November at The Butler, Chatham Street, Reading.
Last year’s winner was Nicole Allan for her work at The Butler Open Mic, introducing and fostering musicians into paid shows, hosting the Marvellous stage and all her hard work on her debut single release “Should’ve Known Better”.

- Dave Maul – Heavy Pop/Are You Listening
- Sion Wiley – Newbury Open Mics
- James Kell – multi-instrumentalist and performer
There are three judges who are involved in various areas of the music scene. The criteria include charity, advocacy, and personal improvement.
