Belgian beers

Subject to availability we’ve also got the following Belgian beers at The Retreat.

Chimay Blue (9%)
A rich dark ale from Trappist brewery Chimay. A luxurious dubbel with coffee, chocolate and banana.

Daas Blond (6.5%)
Honey spiced aromas and perfectly balanced bittersweet flavours with a classic dry hop finish.

Duvel (8.5%)
A Belgian strong ale with spice and banana notes named after the Devil for its drinkability.

Hoegaarden Witbier (4.9%)
Hazy, pale yellow colour with a creamy head. Notes of lemon essence, spice, coriander and hints of white pepper on the nose.

Leffe 6.6%
Aromatic malts give the beer its deep golden colour and full-bodied fruity, lightly spiced taste.

St Bernardus Pater 6 (6.7%)
A fruity, full-bodied blonde ale with banana bread and spice notes.

Trappistes Rochefort 8 (9.2%)
A strong, dark amber beer from the Trappist Rochefort Monastery. Rich with fruitcake aromas.

Vedett Extra Blond (5.2%)
A delicious Belgian pilsner from one of Belgium’s most forward-thinking family breweries. Lemony and refreshing.
