This will be an amazing jazz session at The Retreat. Local favourites Stuart Henderson and Simon Price will be joined by Vasilis Xenopoulos, Tom Berge and Andy Crowdy. Arrive early to get a seat for what is set to be one of the best jazz events in Reading this year.
Vasilis Xenopoulos is one of the most accomplished Greek jazz musicians of his generation and a genuine representative of straight-ahead jazz.

Tom’s versatility and creativity as a pianist establishes him as one of the most exciting, up and coming players in the UK. Tom’s style brings originality while still being firmly rooted in the swing tradition. Tom has played many of the Uk’s finest jazz artists including Tina May, Zoe Francis, Jim Mullen, Mike Walker, Andy Cleyndert, Alec Dankworth, Karen Sharpe, Alan Barnes, Enrico Tomasso, Simon Spillett, Allison Neale, Quentin Collins, to name a few.
Andy Crowdy is a highly rated bass player who has performed with many leading UK players including Gary Potter, Diz Disley, Clark Tracey, Alan Barnes and Tina May. He has been heard with Acker Bilk on one night and with a contemporary jazz band on the next day.
